I heard about this show after it happened. I was pretty bummed because I moved close to there (SJC) and could have gone. I've been to the Miramar when I lived down there. I saw "Jimi Hendrix Plays Berkeley".  It probably was perfect to see a concert in. It was one of those old movie theater's with a stage and the seating rose up as they got further back.  But it was pretty small compared to today's movie theater's.

Paul Carey writes  ""Putty" was our first attempt at a demo. We had not even found a drummer yet (Paul Sakry joined a couple of weeks later), so we borrowed drummer Scott Morse from my brother David's band (Cone of Silence). The plan was to send this demo to ROIR Records' "Garage Sale," but we missed the deadline. Instead Robert and I took the tape to Greg Shaw at Bomp. Greg not only filled us in on the history of the original song before the Yardbirds (by the Shirelles), but it led to our inclusion on Battle of the Garages Volume 3."

The Untold Fables cover "Putty in your hands" as done by The Yardbirds from their "For Your Love" LP.  The Shirelles also do a good version.

I believe this was taken at a show in Anaheim Hills at a club house there. At this show I talked a couple of guys from High School (Capo Valley) to go to the show and we went.  Sadly it only lasted about as long as one of their Mission Viejo parties (a few songs). The whole Anaheim Riot squad showed up. Helmets and batons and all.  Back in those days Anaheim Hills wasn't used to a bunch of loud kids playing music even louder.
