This was my last time seeing Love & Terror. It was a accident as well. I saw Johnny twice in March 1986.  It must be quite a good spot to open for him. The first show in 1986 Guns & Roses opened that one. I kinda wondered how L&T got on this one. Me & Jim Maxfield went to this one together. I remember lots of blow. Kept me from being so drunk. The paranoia part was still a couple years away. Nice to have a lot of old friends round for a concert. Of the 5 times I saw Johnny this was by far the best one.  However sound wise the worst. TSOL blew the PA and there was a buzzing sound all through Johnny's set.

Back around 1984 or so Paul Carey brought over some video tapes to my Grandparents house one weekend. I think I only got my first VCR a short time before that. Getting some good music video wasn't quite so easy in those days. Of the hundreds of video tapes I got through the years before DVD's the one I got from Paul  was always my favorite. It had Hullabaloo / Shindig stuff as well as The Bad Seeds and Zakary Thaks.  Below I posted a couple of the clips. Me & Paul hooked up the two VCR's and started  to record the stuff. We made a copy for each of us and were glued in front of that TV for probably 10 hours straight.

This clip is great. It has the guests' that week doing the top 5 hits of the week.

Here's another great video I got from Paul that day.

"Live at the Anti-Cub in Hollywood CA. March 14, 1987. This is a song we did for fun with Rich Coffee on a night we were playing with Thee Fourgiven. I think we only rehearsed it one time with Rich, so it's pretty loose. I believe we only played it live two other times one being on the closing night of Greg Shaw's Cavern Club." Paul Carey

I think David got the best sound from The Untold Fables.  It's quite a shame he hasn't gotten alot more recognition for his producing.
